Our Beginning

Beginning in 2012, our centre joined the 60 year history of the Rose of Tralee Festival. Each summer, women from all over the world head to Tralee, Co. Kerry, Ireland for the International Rose of Tralee Festival. Women are selected in their communities to represent their province, state or country. The Rose of Tralee is a celebration of the irish diaspora through the successful & strong women it has created. Dozens of roses have joined our program here in Newfoundland & Labrador creating an everlasting sisterhood.

At Home

Throughout the year, our roses spent time together and solo giving back to their communities. Volunteering, personal growth and new experiences are a huge part of our centre. We always attend local Christmas parades and give back as a group. Roses take part in events all year ‘round!

In Ireland

The selected Newfoundland & Labrador Rose will represent her Province and Rose sisters in Tralee, Co. Kerry, Ireland. She will join 32 other women from around the world to have the experience of a lifetime. Community volunteering, parades, tourism experiences and incredible fun will await her in Tralee.
