Cheyenne Reid- Natalie Hynes Photography Rose
Cheyenne Reid is 23 years old and originally hails from Dildo, Newfoundland but moved to St.John’s to attend Memorial University. She is a 2022 graduate from Memorial with a BA in French and Linguistics. She currently works with Eastern Health as a On Call/Casual Housekeeper. Outside of work and school she enjoys reading, cooking food from all over the world, history and she has a deep interest in foreign languages and cultures.
Cassidy Barry- Sarah Gerbig MUA Rose
Cassidy Barry is a vibrant and multifaceted 23-year-old who was born and raised in the small fishing town of Placentia, Newfoundland & Labrador. She recently graduated from Memorial University with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in English with a Psychology minor. Cassidy highly values education and hopes to continue her own studies with plans to eventually become a doctor. Aside from her university studies, Cassidy has also received formal training in gel nails, three dimensional nail art and had proudly earned the title of Swarovski Certified Nail Artist. These accomplishments allowed her to begin her own business at 19 years old as a nail technician that she continues to successfully operate today. Creativity and art such as acting, painting, and crafting, have always been an extremely important part of Cassidy’s life. She turned her love of the arts into a career as she is currently a professional actress and model who can be found in various episodes of several television series produced in Newfoundland. You can find her in shows such as Hudson and Rex, Surrealestate, Astrid and Lily Save the World, Son Of A Critch, and several more. When she is not working, Cassidy is an avid pageant competitor who has competed both locally at Miss Newfoundland where she won Miss Photogenic in 2019; as well as nationally at Miss Universe Canada 2020. She most recently obtained the title of Miss Entrepreneurship Canada 2021 in December 2021. In her spare time, Cassidy enjoys spending time with friends and family as well as swimming, exercising and doing renovations on her new home. Cassidy is a creative and intelligent woman that loves to challenge herself every day and believes in striving to present the best version of yourself every day.

Rebecca Quilty- The Paint Shop Rose
I’m 28 years old and I am originally from Marystown, NL but moved to St. John’s a decade ago to attend Memorial University. I completed a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in 2015 and then completed a Doctor of Medicine degree at Memorial University in 2019. I am currently a medical resident in Pediatrics at Memorial University. I am very passionate about child health advocacy as well as medical research and plan to incorporate these pillars heavily in my medical practice. Outside of having the privilege of providing care to children at work, I enjoy dance, specifically ballet and Irish dance, knitting, travelling, reading, and painting. I am very passionate about my Irish heritage with ancestry traced to both County Waterford on the Quilty side and County Cork on the Collins side.

Caroline Murphy- Newfoundland Embassy Rose
Caroline is 22 years old and from Tors Cove, Newfoundland, a small town on the Irish loop. She just recently graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador with a Bachelor of Commerce and a minor in French. Throughout her time at MUN, Caroline has been apart of the Memorial University Cheerleading team where she volunteered at university events and competed internationally. Cheerleading has played a large role in her life, allowing her to gain confidence to participate in events such as the Rose of Tralee. She still continues her love for the sport through coaching and volunteering. Caroline is passionate about travel, adventure, and exploring all that Newfoundland and Labrador has to offer.

Jennifer Mackey- Remax Infinity Realty
Jennifer Mackey is a 27-year-old born in St. John’s, NL. She is currently working as a Registered Nurse, mainly in the Post Anesthetic Care unit but is also a certified Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner and cosmetic nurse injector. Jennifer recently completed her Master Degree in Health Ethics from Memorial University and incorporates her knowledge of ethics into her role on the International Forensic Nurse Association Research and Social Justice Committee. She hopes to be able to return to school to further her knowledge of healthcare. When not working, Jennifer enjoys performing. She has been a part of the Newfoundland musical arts scene since a young age. Some of her recent performances include TADA Events Our Divas Do Christmas (2013-2021), We Will Rock You (2019), Birdcage (2020), and Atlantic Light’s production of 9 to 5 (2020), to name a few. Jennifer also loves to volunteer, especially traveling and fundraising with Team Broken Earth to help provide medical relief around the world to those in developing countries. Jennifer has also been a long-standing volunteer with the Canadian Cancer Society – Pink Days in Bloom, which helps support those with breast cancer here in the province of Newfoundland. Jennifer is excited to once again be participating in the NL Rose of Tralee Selection. She has been involved in the NL Roses since 2015, has learned a lot about her Irish roots and is thrilled to see who will represent Newfoundland in Tralee.

My name is Shannon Ryan. I am 23 years old. I was born and raised in St. John's Newfoundland .
I have Irish heritage on my father's side of the family, the Ryan's. I also have Irish heritage on my mother's side of the family, the Glynn side.
I'm passionate about animal welfare. I also have a strong interest in music. I was
involved in Choir throughout high school and have taken voice lessons outside of school for several years. I enjoy the outdoors and have worked in gardening in 2017 and 2018 .
My hobbies include camping with my family, reading a good book, and spending time with friends.

Destiny Reid- C & D Plumbing Rose
Destiny Rose Elyse Reid is a engaging 21 year old from the beautiful little community of Dildo, Nl. She started work at 12 years old as a babysitter to later start work at The Dildo Dory Grill as a busgirl and waitress from 14-18. Destiny Rose has also worked as a waitress/server at local foodie favourites such as Fabulous foods and The Cannery Kitchen and Social located at the Hilton Garden Inn. Adding to the resume she has also worked with Comfort Home Care as a personal care and home attendant, you can currently catch her working at Soothe Spa as a receptionist where you can come in, grab a pedicure and leave with “The Happiest Feet In St.Johns!” Destiny Rose graduated from Ascension Collegiate High School in 2019, and will be attending Toronto Film School for an Acting in Film and Tv diploma in October 2022! She finds comfort in the sisterhood and lifelong friends you obtain from standing next to groups of strong, empowering, young women. She has experienced this in such events as Miss Teen Trinity Conception where she takes pride in being given the title of Miss Friendship 3 years in a row! As well as Miss Achievement Nl and Miss Newfoundland and Labrador! Her dream is to be a Successful Actress, businesswoman, and activist. I’m a 20 year old girl from beautiful St. John’s Newfoundland. I love to surround myself with nature, music and a good book. Talents of mine include baking and playing the piano. My goals in life are to touch as many lives with as many positive impacts as I can. I aspire to uplift everyone I meet in my path. I am a firm believer that we can make the world a better place by simply spreading love, a smile and kind words. You never know who really needs it, always remember you’re never alone in his world.
